Clirim Ceka was born in Elbasan in 1945. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana in 1967. He has been a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana since 1970 and had been a professor at the School of Fine Arts in Tirana until 1997. In 1998 he settled in Thessaloniki, Greece.
Clirim Ceka participated in international exhibitions in China, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Kosovo, France, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Greece, Austria, USA.
Personal exhibitions of Clirim Ceka opened in Italy, Croatia, Romania, Denmark, Albania and Greece. Many of his works are at the National Gallery of Albania and in private collections around the word.
Clirim Ceka is a member of the Chamber of Fine Artists of Greece -EETE and a member of the association of figurative artists of northern Greece – SKETBE.
